A the “Parc de l’Oreneta” circuit are running together the material property of the “Centre” itself and  locomotives and draw material owned by the members

The steam operated locomotives are the most spectacular. The combination of fire and water produces the steam used as a moving power. There are as well locomotives moved by electrical energy supplied by batteries and besides some locomotives moved by combustion motors which use gasoline or gas-oil.

The “Centre” has available locomotives of own property, some of them purchased to their constructors and other of own construction, at the facilities that the “Centre” had available. The last constructions were two engines of two axles, with heat motor and traction by means of a converter and hydraulic motors at the axles

The improvement of the movable material never comes to an end and always any accessories that contribute to improve the trustworthiness are incorporated. The last initiative in this sense was the substitution of the vacuum operated brakes, which were used at the beginning, by those operated with compressed air.

Several members of the “Centre” have constructed their own locomotives and other devices, which due to their perfection, have been recognized to be authentic engineering works.    

The last locomotive constructed by one of the members, a “Garrat” type engine for gauge 10”, has not been incorporated to the “Oreneta” circuit due to the lack of space at the traction depot that we have  available there at this very moment, and runs at the circuit of “Sabadell”. An special commemorative ticket was issued the day that this locomotive was inaugurated.

One of the most important aspects at the “Centre” is the always existing good ambient of companionship,  collaboration and mutual support among the members, facts that enable to be able to reach all these goals.
